A Better Way Anger Management / SRT Program - Assistant Director Position
Summary/Objective
The Assistant Director will support A Better Way Anger Management /Social Responsibility Therapy Program’s mission of providing anger and conflict management strategies to youth 12-18 years of age in a safe environment that promotes character building and fosters the notion of community.
The Assistant Director is responsible for assisting the Program Director in planning, coordinating group sessions, marketing program, scheduling staff meetings and team building functions, census reporting, finances, and overall program related duties.
Essential Functions
- Assists the Director in overall planning of after-school sessions.
- Locates community sites for after-school sessions.
- Helps plan monthly meetings and events.
- Creates workbook / toolkit materials for students.
- Inputs and tracts data into the computer using EXCEL.
- Assists with outgoing correspondents.
Required Qualifications, Education, and Experience
- Master’s Degree; a minimum of two (2) years of related work experience.
- Competent in EXCEL, Canva and PowerPoint.
- Able to pass all ACT33 Clearances.
- Highly proficient in meeting deadlines.
- Must possess professional and skilled communication and writing skills.
- Must have excellent hospitality skills and exceptional focus on rendering outstanding client service(s).
Preferred Qualifications, Education, and Experience
- Background in Trauma Informed Care is desired.
- Training in Anger/Conflict Management preferred.
Salary
$67,500 with Benefits
