Job Description:

Mother Teresa Regional Catholic School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for children, focusing on their academic, social, and emotional development. This role involves implementing engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and collaborating with parents and staff to support each child's unique learning journey.

Duties

  • Provide instruction to elementary level students in various subject areas including ELA, Math, Science, SS, Religion
  • Communicate with parents about students' progress
  • Provide an educational atmosphere consistent with instructional goals
  • Plan, develop, write, and implement curriculum and educational programs in accordance with educational goals and students' abilities
  • Manage student behavior to encourage best possible student educational experience.
  • Evaluate students' academic growth, keeps appropriate records and prepares progress reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field; certification in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
  • Experience working with students in a classroom setting is essential.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and effective teaching strategies.
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all students.
