Organizational Summary: St. Maximilian Kolbe School is a Christ-centered Catholic community called to model Jesus’ Law of Love. Job Summary: The Enrollment Director is responsible for managing the enrollment process and leading advancement initiatives, and community outreach. This role involves engaging prospective families, maintaining enrollment records, cultivating donor relationships, and promoting the school's mission and values. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic communicator with strong organizational skills, a passion for education, and a knack for building lasting relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enrollment Management:
○ Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain students.
○ Manage the entire enrollment process, including inquiries, applications, tours, assessments, and final admissions decisions.
○ Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospective and enrolled students.
○ Conduct school tours and open houses to showcase the school's facilities, programs, and community.
- Family Engagement:
○ Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective families, providing information and support throughout the enrollment process.
○ Communicate effectively with families to ensure they understand the school's mission, values, and academic offerings.
- Community Outreach:
○ Represent the school at community events, educational fairs, and other outreach activities.
○ Develop promotional materials and outreach strategies in collaboration with the marketing and communications team.
- Communications:
○ Responsible for setting and maintaining professional writing and design standards for school communications. This includes, but is not limited to:
i. Print publications including school newsletter/magazine, marketing materials, giving program brochures, and direct mail pieces
ii. Electronic communications including website, email, and social media.
iii. Media relations including advertising and press releases in local newspapers, local media coverage of school events.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
○ Analyze enrollment data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
○ Prepare regular reports for school leadership on enrollment metrics and advancement activities.
○ Use data to inform and adjust recruitment and advancement strategies as needed.
- Operations:
○ Database planning: data acquisition and management
○ Database management: oversee the management of databases as it relates to enrollment management and development, especially the updating and maintaining of the alumni database
○ General office processes and procedures
Qualifications:
● Ability to appreciate and communicate a passion for Catholic elementary education
● Understanding of Catholic Identity
● Experience in enrollment management, development, sales, marketing, communication, and/or volunteer management.
● Demonstrated leadership and effectiveness in developing and accomplishing organizational goals
● Ability to build a team, effectively recruiting and managing volunteers
● Superior communication skills, ability to conceptualize and execute strategic plans, the ability to interact confidently and effectively with school staff, students, donors, trustees, school administration, the media, and alumni
● Ability to become proficient in new programs and software very quickly
● Ability to work nights and weekends as the position dictates for various meetings and school events
Education and Experience:
● Bachelor’s degree in related field strongly preferred
● Experience in a parochial or not-for-profit environment preferred.
● Experience using Microsoft Office, Social Media (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook) Google Suite, and Google Analytics
