Advancement Associate- Office of Catholic Education

Position Summary
The Advancement Associate supports the efforts of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s Office of Catholic Education and its schools as it relates tax credit initiatives, corporate relations, and gifts initiatives. This position reports to the Chief Marketing and Advancement Officer at the Office of Catholic Education and is a senior member of the Advancement team.
Key Responsibilities
The Advancement Associate will be responsible for initiatives relating to various projects and programs including, but not limited to, the following:
Tax Credit Programs
- Collaborating with school development teams to enhance and expand the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of prospective benefactors.
- Acting as a liaison for regional Scholarship Organizations (SO) in collaboration with the schools mentioned above.
- Coordinating regular meetings with SOs to discuss operational and strategic goals for the schools and the system.
- Ensuring that the process and protocols for working with the various SOs is adhered to and that timely communication and stewardship with participants is paramount.
- Updating information about interactions with prospects and donors in Raiser’s Edge.
- Communicating with each school about the status of prospect development and sharing details about prospects with the schools for further cultivation and stewardship.
- Analyzing data and providing prospect research reports as needed.
- Researching and identifying new corporate, foundation and private funding prospects to match priorities of the Archdiocesan schools.
- Assisting schools with generating high-quality proposals, narratives and supporting documents for benefactor support.

Preferred Experience and Skills:
- 3-5 years of nonprofit fundraising experience, with a proven record of meeting or exceeding KPIs in a similar role
- Bachelor's degree in business management, communications, or a related field
- Demonstrated success in building corporate donor cultivation strategies
- Strong proficiency in fundraising CRM systems, such as Raiser’s Edge
- Excellent written, oral, and organizational skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and collaborative skills
- Growth mindset
- Must be willing to work nights and weekends as necessary
