Part-Time Bilingual Clinician
Catholic Social Services (CSS) in partnership with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has an opening in a program that provides foster care, treatment and educational services to assist unaccompanied children entering the United States. The agency offers paid vacation, sick time, a generous holiday schedule and medical benefits for staff in a 20+hr/week position.
The part-time Clinician will work up to 21 hours (3 days) per week (negotiable) to support clinical team in order to meet program’s clinical requirements. While the hours are primarily between 8:30am-4:30pm M-F, the schedule can vary and the successful candidate will be able to work flexible hours when needed. The salary range is $35,000 to $39,000.
Essential Functions:
- Provide intake risk assessments within 72 hours of clients being admitted into the program.
- Screen for trafficking or other concerns and make referrals as needed.
- Provide a minimum of weekly individual counseling sessions.
- Provide twice weekly group therapy sessions with all clients in the program.
- Provide clinical supervisor with regular updates on each client’s progress.
- Participate in weekly individual and group supervision.
- Attend required trainings.
Essential Qualifications:
- MSW or MA in counseling.
- Must be licensed or license eligible (license preferred).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Ability to be flexible, creative and work in a diverse setting.
- Demonstrated written and verbal skills.
- Ability to build rapport with clients.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
- Demonstrated cross-cultural sensitivity.
